MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Lake Egypt Water District is now reporting a boil water order for customers in several areas.
The boil water order is for all customers on and South of Lake of Egypt Rd starting at St Rt 166 going West to St Rt 37. Customers on St Rt 37 from Grassy Rd going South to Eagle Point Bay Rd. Starting South of The City of Goreville going South to St Rt 146 in West Vienna. This includes all adjoining roads and subdivisions. (Pharoahs Garden, Egyptian Hills, Eagle Point Bay, Woodland Hills, Parrish Ridge Etc.)
The Lake Egypt Water District earlier reported a water outage throughout the district on Friday.
The water district sent out the alert at 3:11 p.m. on May 16.
The district stated they are aware of the issue and are working to get the outage resolved.
