(CNN) -- Dollar General is planning to add 20,000 workers this Spring. This includes full and part-time staff in stores and at distribution centers.
The discount retail chain is also hiring drivers for its private trucking fleet.
This latest hiring spree will expand the company's workforce by 13 percent.
Unlike other retailers, Dollar General is thriving during the pandemic. It is set to open more than 1,000 stores this year.
