(WSIL) -- The more than $2 trillion stimulus package approved in Washington, D.C. last week has help for small businesses across the country.

The "Paycheck Protection Program" allocates $350 billion to help businesses maintain their payrolls during the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus.

The program proves 100 percent federally guaranteed loans. But those loans can be forgiven if businesses maintain their payrolls during the crisis or restore their payrolls afterward.
