(CNN) -- Kroger is now limiting purchases of certain pandemic favorites.
They include toilet paper, paper towels, disinfectants and hand soap.
Research from IRI reports about 19% of paper products and 16% of household cleaners were out of stock last week.
This comes as Johns Hopkins University reported a surge in new COVID-19 cases.
