MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- The 4th annual Take Me Out to the Car Show is set for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Mtn Dew Park in Marion. The event, organized by Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service, has become a popular attraction in southern Illinois.
“It’s been great! The community has really gotten behind the show and helped it grow. It just wouldn’t be the same without our supporters, Shawn Hughes, president of Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service, said.
This year's event will feature cars, trucks, and bikes, along with fan favorites like food trucks, a craft vendor fair, and a burnout contest. The burnout contest is open to licensed drivers over 18, requiring a $10 donation, a signed waiver, and proof of insurance.
“The burnouts were a big hit last year! We’d love to see the winners come out and try to defend their titles against all the newcomers gunning for a trophy, Hughes said.
The car show will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend. Vehicle registration costs $15 before June 5 or $20 on the day of the event, with registration closing at noon on June 7.
Proceeds will benefit the Ainad Shriners/Williamson County Shrine Club Road Runners unit and the Gary Sinise Foundation. For more information, visit .
