MARION, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois Made Expo is around the corner with a day full of activities, vendors, fun and much more.
The event will be held at The Pavilion in Marion at 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 19.
State Senator Dale Fowler joins us in studio to talk about the Southern Illinois Made Expo
The event theme is "Christmas in July" and the venue will be packed with surprises, gifts and many vendors.
Those in attendance will be able to show and support local businesses with handcrafted products and services. There will also be exciting giveaways after completing the SI Made Tour Challenge, free tastings and samples, along with live entertainment.
Also on hand for the children will be face painting, balloon artists, a photo booth and Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Proceeds from exhibitor fees and attendee donations will go to support Down the Leash Service Dogs and the VA Medical Center Food Pantry. The Southern Illinois Made Expo is also in partnership with Honor Flight of Southern Illinois.
