MURRAY, Ky (WSIL) -- One person was injured and two were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Murray, Kentucky Tuesday.
On March 16 around 7:30 a.m. the Murray Police Department responded to a home on Chestnut Street in response to a shooting.
Police found a juvenile and two adults with gunshot wounds.
The juvenile and 46-year-old Katherine Bryan were taken to the Murray Calloway County Hospital, before being airlifted to another hospital.
Bryan was later pronounced dead from her unjuries.
31-year-old Anthony Amoroso was pronounced dead at the scene by the Calloway County Coroner.
Through the investigation, police learned Amoroso shot Bryan, his girlfriend, and the juvenile before shooting himself.
The Murray Police Department was assisted on scene by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, Murray State University Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Murray Fire Department, Murray Calloway County Ambulance Service, Calloway County Coroner’s Office, Air Evac, Calloway County Animal Control, and the Murray Road Department.
