CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WSIL) -- A 31-year-old faces multiple charges in connection to a shooting investigation in Cape Girardeau.
Cape Girardeau police said officers responded to the 800-block of Morgan Oak Street for a shots fired call at 1:30 p.m. on December 26.
Once they got to the scene, police said they found out there was one person who had a gunshot wound to his leg.Â
The injured victim was taken to the hospital.
Police said the suspect and the victim were in a relationship and there was a verbal argument between them beforehand.
Officers later found the suspect, identified as Shaquya Craddock, 31 of Cape Girardeau. Officers also said they also found the alleged firearm used, along with other evidence.
Craddock was charged with a Class A felony of domestic assault 1st degree and armed criminal action. She was taken into custody on a $100,000 cash only bond.
