Carbondale business under investigation by FBI

CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- A local business in Carbondale is being investigated by the FBI.

Multiple law enforcement officers entered the business in the Highway 13 Centre strip mall, near Reed Station Road, Thursday.

The business has no signage, but is identified online as the “Royal Asian Spa.�

The FBI field office in Springfield, IL confirmed to News 3 that an investigation is underway, but didn't provide any further details.

Carbondale Police tell News 3 they are not involved in the investigation.
