Four Face Multiple Charges, Accused of Stealing Items from Unlocked Vehicles

PADUCAH, Ky. -- Four people face charges after police say they broke into vehicles and stole items.

The Paducah Police Department stated on Friday morning an 18-year-old, along with three juveniles, face multiple charges after police suspect them of entering unlocked vehicles and stealing items.

Police in Paducah received calls last week about vehicles being broken into in their community. Officers investigated and suspect a group of people were working together with each other in taking the items from the vehicles.

On July 18, at around 5 a.m., police said officers saw a vehicle speeding from an apartment complex along County Park Road. Police believe those inside the vehicle were the ones suspected of the thefts in the vehicles.

The investigation continued and the four people were taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Facility, with the exception of the 18-year-old who was taken to the McCracken County Jail.

  • Giving An Officer False Identifying Information

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected, police said.
