CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- A juvenile female was accused of stabbing two others and were then taken to a hospital on Thursday, police in Carbondale reported.
The Carbondale Police Department stated at 3:25 p.m. on October 17, their officers responded to a disturbance in the 300-block of East Birch Street where they said two victims were stabbed by a juvenile female during a dispute.
Both of the victims were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.Â
Police also said the two victims and juvenile female all knew each other.
The juvenile female who was accused of stabbing the two others was taken into custody for Aggravated Battery, police added.
Multiple juvenile detention centers were contacted about taking in the juvenile female, however, they were not willing to accept her and the juvenile was released to a family member, Carbondale police stated in a report.
