Law enforcement looking for wanted man accused of shooting at books in backpack

PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- Authorities are looking for a man who was accused of missing court in connection to a shooting case.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Nash McMillen failed to show up for a court trial on March 24, where he faced a Fraudulent Firearm Transaction charge.

The sheriff's office said McMillen was arrested on January 17, 2024, after they received reports of shots fired in a Lone Oak neighborhood. Authorities accused McMillen of shooting into a backpack with books inside it.

A warrant has been issued for McMillen's arrest. Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office are searching for McMillen at this time.
