MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- A man was arrested after a local sheriff's office said some baggage was discovered with drugs in it at an airport.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said on October 29, at 6:30 a.m., deputies responded to the Veterans Airport of ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois where they said drugs were found in a customer's baggage.
The sheriff's office said TSA agents were screening the baggage of a customer and found 18 grams of Methamphetamine, Cannabis and Drug Paraphernalia.
Derrick D. Thompson was arrested and taken to the Williamson County Jail. The sheriff's office said they cited him for Possession of Methamphetamine.Â
