One shot in neck in southeast Missouri, one arrested

HAYTI, Mo. (WSIL) -- Police in a southeast Missouri city are investigating a shooting which sent one person to the hospital.

Hayti Police Chief David Maclin said their police officers responded to the 1500-block of North Oats Street for a report of a male who was shot in the neck on September 13.

Chief Maclin said the male was injured and one of their officers took him to the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police reported one person was arrested in relation to this shooting incident.

The investigation is still active.
