Police investigate after vehicles and homes shot at

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WSIL) -- Officers from the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 1100 block of Bloomfield on May 18 around 7 p.m.

Authorities said they found evidence indicating shots were fired, with two vehicles and two residences hit by bullets. The suspects left the area before officers arrived and remain at large.

This investigation is ongoing. Officials urge anyone with information to contact the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
