Two arrested after deputies serve search warrant at Johnston City home

JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. (WSIL) -- Two people were cited with charges after law enforcement served a search warrant on a home on Saturday in Johnston City.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said their deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 200-block of West 5th Street in Johnston City on the evening of March 8.

The sheriff's office said this has been a several monthslong investigation.

After searching the home, the sheriff's office said they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials and digital scales.

Anthony K. Bantle

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Rebecca S. Pena

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Both Bantle and Pena were taken to the Williamson County Jail.聽
