JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. -- Two people were arrested and face charges after deputies serve a warrant at a home in Johnston City on Saturday.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the 1700-block of Follis Avenue in Johnston City at 12:54 a.m. on August 17, in reference to information of a wanted person was at the home.
The sheriff's office said this wanted person was Caleb R. Grant who had a felony arrest warrant for burglary at the time.
Deputies were at the property when they reportedly saw Grant walking by the window inside. At this time, deputies set up a perimeter around the home.
A woman then walked out the front door of the home. The sheriff's office said this person was Kierston C. Tolbert.
Law enforcement at the scene then told Tolbert they had an active warrant for Grant and to have him exit the home, the sheriff's office said in a report.
More deputies then arrived at the home.
After going inside, Tolbert then came back out of the home and allegedly was physical with law enforcement and was in the way of deputies trying to apprehend Grant.
Tolbert was then taken into custody.
Deputies then went inside the home and found Grant reportedly hiding in a closet. The sheriff's office said they took Grant into custody after a brief struggle.

Kierston Tolbert
- Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer
- Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer
Caleb Grant
- Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer
- Burglary (Original offense)
Both Grant and Tolbert were then taken to the Williamson County Jail.
