flooding and flooding Wednesday through Sunday.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...All of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall over several days
will result in extreme forecast amounts of up to 1 foot of
rain that will cause the risk of flash flooding and flooding
to rise markedly and create a particularly dangerous flooding
situation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor later forecasts and be alert for Flash Flood and Flood
Warnings. Be prepared to take action when flooding develops as this
will be a particularly dangerous situation.

MIDNIGHT CDT /1 AM EDT/ WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ Wednesday to midnight CDT /1 AM
EDT/ Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Two Sought in Vehicle Break-In and Theft Investigation

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Authorities are trying to identify two people who are believed to have broken into vehicles and taken items on Tuesday morning.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said two people were getting into vehicles in the area of Ashley, McKenna and Gunner Drive in the early morning hours on September 3.

The sheriff's office shared photos in regards to the incident and believe these two people took cash and other items from within the vehicles before leaving the area.

Authorities are asking the public if they know who these two people might be, to call the sheriff's office as they are looking to identify the two. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office number is 270-444-4719.

The sheriff's office also is reminding the public to lock their vehicles at night and to not leave any valuables in their vehicles, such as bank cards, money, medications, guns, etc.
