...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and near Murphysboro

.Moderate to major flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At
Plumfield, the river is now forecast to crest in moderate flood
stage near 28.5 feet Friday morning. At Murphysboro, the river has
crested and started a very slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River...including Plumfield, Murphysboro...
Moderate to Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Two wanted in Williamson County on aggravated domestic battery charges

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office updated the public on February 6, stating one of the suspects wanted in Williamson County has been captured.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for two people who are wanted on charges in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office alerted the public on Wednesday, February 5, about the two individuals.

Cameron Daniel, 33 of Herrin, is wanted on an Aggravated Domestic Battery charge. He is 5'11: tall, weighing 190 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Lavell Porter, 35 of Herrin, is wanted on an Aggravated Domestic Battery/Strangle charge. He is 6' tall, weighing 180 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.
