...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro affecting Jackson County.

Big Muddy River near Plumfield affecting Franklin and Williamson
Counties.

.The Big Muddy River continues to rise due to heavy rain last week
and over the weekend. The river will crest on Thursday before
starting a very slow fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.0
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
30.7 feet on 01/26/1949.

Two Wanted on Felony Charges in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for two people wanted on felony charges in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office alerted the public on Wednesday afternoon about the two individuals.

James F. Wilson, 43 of Johnston City, is wanted on a charge for aggravated arson/bodily harm. He is 6' tall, weighing 180 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.

Terri R. Cagle, 32 of Herrin, is wanted on a charge of residential burglary. She is 4'11" tall, weighing 131 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.
