Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 25.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 18.4 feet
Tuesday, April 22.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
25.2 feet on 03/30/1977.

Two wanted out of Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for two people who are wanted on charges in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office alerted the public on Wednesday, October 16, about the two individuals.

Travis Conroy, 35 of Herrin, is wanted on a Burglary charge. He is 5'10" tall, weighing 195 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Dusty Lawrence, 31 of Herrin, is wanted on a charge of Criminal Trespass to Residence. He is 5'7" tall, weighing 180 lbs. with blond hair and blue eyes.
