Trapani has spearheaded after taking over for for Bob Ferrari 27 years ago.
Trapani's efforts and the engagement of other community volunteers has helped grow the festival into one of the area's premier family-oriented events.

The Herrinfesta Italiana committee has taken this opportunity to restructure and appoint new leadership.
Longtime Vice President Joey Helleny, who has also been instrumental in the festival's success, will now share co-chair honors with Kelly Green, who has served as Treasurer.
The committee has declared its confidence in Helleny and Green's abilities to continue the legacy of excellence and community spirit that has defined the festival for decades.
