MARION, IL (WSIL) -- It doesn't get much better than eating a burrito -- grilled meats, cheese, and creamy avocado. You can get all of that deliciousness while helping to rescue a local animal.Ìý

Finding Forever Animal Rescue & Thrift Store is teaming up with the Chipotle in Marion. On September 10th, Finding Forever will receive 25% of the sales when people mention the rescue and show Ìý

The rescue says you can also order pick-up online with code KMVF779 on the Chipotle app or website. This does not work for delivery.

Finding Forever was recently denied a property tax exemption and is trying to raise $4,000 to pay the bill, which is due September 29th.

The manager says times are tough for non-profit organizations and they could use some help.

"As a 501(c)(3) we struggle with just bringing in enough money to care for all the animals that we take in every year," She explains. "Every one gets spayed, neutered, vaccinated, things like that. Obviously that property tax is a very large amount."
