HARRISBURG, Ill. -- Nine Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) district students were recently awarded scholarships through Black Diamond Harley-Davidson.
Black Diamond Harley-Davidson have awarded scholarships with area community colleges for 16 years. The scholarships awarded to the nine area students recently were in the amount of $1,000.
The students awarded the scholarships are as follows:
- Carmi-White County High School: Alexis Miller
- Carrier Mills Stonefort High School: Lane Boaz
- Eldorado High School: Jack Bruce
- Galatia High School: Derrick Fitzpatrick
- Gallatin County High School: Teegan Wright
- Hardin County High School: Emery Stricklin
- Harrisburg High School: Allison Moyer
- NCOE High School: Claira Powell
- Pope County High School: Abigaile Bowman
“These bright students have a high potential for a bright future, and we’re excited to have them at SIC,� said Tiffany Brannock, SIC Registrar. “We’re thankful to partner with Black Diamond Harley-Davidson each year to provide these opportunities for local students.�
