(WSIL) -- Southern Illinoisans gave generously to more than 80 area non-profits and community service organizations.
“There's nothing like southern Illinoisans helping southern Illinoisans," said SIH VP & Chief Development Officer Woody Thorne.
Thanks to the generosity of the community News 3 WSIL and the Southern Illinois Community Foundation have raised more than $100,000 that will help those groups.
That money will go to food, shelter, school supplies, and much, much more, all benefiting our local community and citizens.
