- At 10:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

High pressure continues to block moisture

(WSIL) -- The weekend looks dry as moisture remains stuck to our west.

Saturday is mostly sunny and warmer than average, expect highs in the mid 80s. Sunday looks similar, with a few more clouds.

Rain chances aren't a lifetime away, we'll start needing the umbrella as soon as mid week. With that rain will come chances for thunderstorms.

I'll have more details on how the weekend is shaping up, and tracking our next chance at rainfall this morning on News 3.
