...Breezy South Winds Expected Today...

South winds will increase today becoming sustained 15 to 25 mph
this afternoon along with gusts of 30 to 40 mph. The strongest
gusts are expected to occur across southeast Missouri into
southwest Illinois.

Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. A few tree limbs
may also be blown down. High profile vehicles may encounter some
driving difficulty, especially on east-west roads.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro and Plumfield.

.Levels will continue to slowly fall on the Big Muddy River, but
remain above flood stage through next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 27.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 20.9 feet
Saturday, April 19.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

HireLevel in Marion hosted annual Fall Career Festival

(WSIL) -- As employers work to fill jobs one temp agency is doing its part to connect job seekers to the right opportunity.

HireLevel in Marion hosted its annual Fall Career Festival Wednesday.

The event featured a Halloween theme with candy, giveaways, and of course, many job opportunities.

Positions in Auto Manufacturing, direct support workers, and warehouse associates are just some of the positions available.

One local recruiter says now may be the time to start a new career.

"I feel like it's a good time if you're going to switch careers. This is the perfect time for that. Being in a temp-type position, I think it opens doors for lots of opportunities and growth." said Lacee Breeden/ Recruitment Marketing coordinator

Breeden says HireLevel is looking to hire up to 100 employees.
