JACKSON, Mo. -- Hundreds came out Saturday night to the Knights of Columbus in Jackson where the Hoffman Family Fireworks held a demo firework shoot.
Area residents watched as more than 60 fireworks were shot off, one-by-one, starting with some of the medium sized fireworks and working their way up to the larger ones.
Food and drinks were available and donations were collected to go towards a new Outside Recreational Pavilion at the local Veterans home.
In total, more than $2,500 worth of fireworks were shot off during the event.
