HURST, Ill. -- A bicyclist was taken to a hospital after a collision with a vehicle on Sunday night.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said deputies were sent to the scene of a reported hit-and-run crash along Illinois Route 149 in Hurst after 11 p.m. on August 4.
The sheriff's office said the crash involved a person on a bicycle and a vehicle.
The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
