CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- First responders were on scene in Carterville working a traffic incident on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters and police from Carterville responded to the intersection of Highway 13 and S. Division Street on the afternoon of September 19 where a car was heavily burned and sitting in the right lane of eastbound traffic.Â
Eastbound traffic was impacted and traveling through the area slowly as crews were on scene.
Windows were busted out of the car and the back end was heavily damaged.Â
News 3 has talked with police and are waiting on more information to be released on the matter.
