Carbondale police locate missing 18-year old

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- UPDATE -- The missing adult from Carbondale who police have been looking for since October 25 has been found. 

Fergie Laurie, 18, of Carbondale was located in St. Louis, police announced. Laurie was described as safe and in good health. 

Police thank the public for its help in finding Laurie. 

ORIGINAL STORY, Oct. 25, 2023 -- Police are asking the public to help find a missing 18-year-old woman who could be in danger.

The Carbondale Police Department said they are looking for Fergie Laurie, 18 of Carbondale, who is missing person from the 1100-block of East Walnut Street.

Laurie was last seen at around 10 p.m. on Monday, October 23.

She is a white female, 5'5" tall, weighing 150 lbs. with red hair and hazel eyes.

Police said she frequents the 500-block of North Westridge Drive and the 800-block of West Mill Street.

She is said to have a condition that potentially places her in danger.
