below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.

Lanes back open after police work traffic crash in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: All lanes are now back open.

ORIGINAL: Police are on scene of a crash and are informing motorists to use extreme caution in the area.

The Carbondale Police Department said they have one eastbound lane closed as they work a traffic crash in the 200-block of E. Walnut Street.

Police alerted the public of the crash at 4:45 p.m. on February 26. They urge everyone to use extreme caution if you pass through this area.
