MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Marion High School is collecting donations to help hurricane victims on the east coast.
The event is called "Stack the Semi" which are calling out students and the community to donate essential items.
This event is a partnership between Marion High School, Z & I Trucking, Black Diamond Family of Business and Watermark Auto Group.
Items can be dropped off at the Marion High School, Black Diamond Harley-Davidson, Oasis Home Center, Oasis Powersports, Second Baptist Church, Marion City Hall and at Riley's Smokehouse starting on October 6 through October 20 during regular business hours at each location.

How You Can Help:
- Donate Essential Items: Please drop off any of the items listed below at Marion High School or other drop off locations. Every contribution matters!
- Spread the Word: Share our campaign on social media using #StackTheSemi to reach more people.
- Volunteer: Students are working to organize the items and load the truck. Join us and make a direct impact.
Items Needed:
- Help us collect the following new and unopened items:
- Food (Non-Perishable): Canned goods (with pull-tabs), peanut butter, bottled water, sports drinks, fruit cups, and snacks.
- Cleaning Supplies: Bleach, disinfectants, mops, brooms, and trash bags.
- Baby Supplies: Diapers, formula, wipes, and baby food.
- Hygiene Kits: Toothbrushes, soap, razors, shampoo, deodorant, and hand sanitizer.
- Medical Supplies: Band-aids, non-prescription drugs, disinfectant wipes, and sunscreen.
- Bedding/Linens: Blankets, towels, sleeping bags, and cots.
- Clothing: Socks and underwear (all sizes).

- October 12 (Saturday) at Black Diamond Harley Davidson (10:00 a.m. 鈥� 2:00 p.m.)
- October 15 & 16 (Tuesday & Wednesday) at Marion High School, West lot (9:00 a.m. 鈥� 2:00 p.m.)
