.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.

Missing hiker found in Pope County.

POPE COUNTY, Ill. -- A missing hiker was found in Pope County after they were reported missing.

The Rural Pope County Fire Protection District states they were toned out for a search and rescue along Oak Road at 4:03 p.m. on November 5.

    The fire district said they responded with two rescue vehicles to the scene along Oak Road near a cemetery for the missing hiker.

    Other agencies also responded to the scene. They were the Pope County Sheriff's Office and the Rural Pope County EMS.

    The fire district stated the missing hiker was located safe.
