UPDATE:

BENTON, Ill. --Authorities say 82-year-old Patricia Sexton has been found safe. She is being evaluated for any medical issues.

ORIGINAL STORY:

BENTON, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for the public's help in finding an 82-year-old who went missing and is considered endangered on Friday, February 16, 2024.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted the public Mrs. Patricia C. Sexton, 82 of Benton, was last seen at her home on Whisper Way in Benton.

Authorities said Sexton suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is considered missing endangered.

Sexton was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a beige shirt or possibly a sweater. She is 5'0" tall, 140 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who has any information about her whereabouts is urged to call 618-438-4841 or 911.
