Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 19.1 feet Monday,

ISP announce results of "Click It or Ticket" campaign

CARMI, IL (WSIL) -- The Illinois State Police have announced the results of their "Click It or Ticket" campaign.

All in all, the ISP issued 21 citations and warnings related to speeding, and they also issued 14 other miscellaneous citations. The ISP issued 50 written warnings during the initiative.
