Kentucky crews respond to water over roadways

UPDATE 5:00 p.m.:

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 1 Crews are continuing to respond to reports of water over highways at various locations following heavy rainfall across the region overnight.

Many locations have "Road May Flood" signs permanently posted.

At this hour, we have the following report:

Calloway County

-KY 783/Crossland Rd. has Water Over Road signs posted at the 4.25mm south of the Wiswell community near Jackson Creek and Middle Fork Clarks River

Carlisle County

-KY 1628 is closed between the 2 and 4mm

-KY 1820 is closed between the 1 and 2mm

-U.S. 62 is open at the 3 to 4mm in West Fork Creek Bottoms between Bardwell and the KY 121 4-Way Stop - KYTC Personnel Monitoring Traffic with Signs Posted
