CADIZ, Ky. (WSIL) -- A fourth person has died in connection to flooding which hit western Kentucky over the past several days.

Governor Andy Beshear stated a 65-year-old man from Trigg County died relating to flooding.

This comes after the body of a 27-year-old missing man was recovered moments earlier on Monday out of Ballard County.

State police said they found the body of Lee Chandler less than 24-hours after he was swept away by floodwater while trying to retrieve his boat.
