PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- A two-vehicle crash took place in Paducah on Sunday which resulted in one person sent to a hospital.
The crash took place on December 22, at 1:50 p.m. in the area of New Holt Road and N. Friendship Road, the McCracken County Sheriff's Office reported.
The sheriff's office said a woman from Benton, Kentucky, was driving a 1979 Chevrolet Corvette going south on New Hope Road when it crashed with a 2008 Toyota Highlander who was pulling out of a driveway from a local business.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
A photo from the sheriff's office shows significant damage to the Corvette with at least one of the front wheels of the Highlander on top of the Corvette.
Assisting the McCracken County Sheriff's Office was the Concord Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Jason's Towing.
