Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday morning, and at Murphysboro Tuesday
morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning.

Mad Magazine to stop publication

(WSIL) � Mad Magazines is stopping publication.

The long-running satirical magazine has been in print since 1952.

D.C. Comics, which owns Mad, has not yet said why it will stop publication of the magazine.

Mad will stop publishing in its current form by the end of the year, but will still publish older material and special editions.
