FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- A southeast Missouri fire department responds to two house fires within 15 hours of each other.
The Fredericktown Fire Department first responded to a fire at a home in the 100-block of Loughborough Street at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
When fire crews got there, they found the home fully involved and partially collapsed.
Crews were there for more than four hours battling the fire before they returned back in service at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The home was determined to be vacant.
Assisting on the call was the Madison County Ambulance District, the Fredericktown Electric Department and the Madison County 911.
Roughly 12 hours later, fire crews there were called out again, this time for a house fire in the 300-block of High Street at around 3 p.m.
The Fredericktown Fire Department said once they got on scene, they found fire and smoke inside the home.
Everyone inside the home was able to make it out.
