Mobile food pantries scheduled to help tornado victims in southeast Missouri

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- The Southeast Missouri Food Bank is helping tornado victims with a little extra food if they need it.

The food bank is hosting multiple mobile food pantries in the storm stricken area. This includes in Wayne County, Reynolds County, Carter County and Butler County.

One mobile food distribution event was held in Wayne County on the morning of March 24 at the Mill Spring Village and City Hall.

There is a mobile distribution event scheduled in Reynolds County at the Ellington Apostolic Tabernacle Church at 5 p.m. on March 24.

In Carter County, a mobile food pantry is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Van Buren at the Mt. Zion Church of God Prophecy.

On Friday, they will have their mobile trucks in Poplar Bluff at the Fellowship General Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. For more information, you can find it on the SEMO Food Bank's .
