The cooler temperatures earlier in the week will likely help speed things up a bit. Look for walnut trees turning yellow along with tulip poplars and sweet gums to display more color.
Dry weather is likely leading to some leaves to turn brown and fall early, but the forecasted peak in the region is still a few weeks away.
