ST. LOUIS (WSIL) -- After a 23 month intermission, live musical theatre is returning to Forest Park in St. Louis.

Season 103 will feature five productions and will open July 26 instead of July 5 with 60% capacity.

This delayed start allows for the health landscape to continue to improve and hopefully provides comfort and certainty for theatre-goers joining us this summer.

The 2021 season lineup, featuring new show order and dates, includes:

  • Smokey Joe’s Cafe | July 26 â€ August 1
  • The Sound of Music | August 3 â€ 9
  • Seven Brides for Seven Brothers | August 12 â€ 18
  • On Your Feet! | August 21 â€ 27
  • Chicago | August 30 â€ September 5

Previously announced Sweeney Todd and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins will move into the 2022 season.

Tickets be purchased online at  or by calling 314-361-1900. At present, the box office in Forest Park remains closed.
