...Breezy South Winds Expected Today...

South winds will increase today becoming sustained 15 to 25 mph
this afternoon along with gusts of 30 to 40 mph. The strongest
gusts are expected to occur across southeast Missouri into
southwest Illinois.

Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. A few tree limbs
may also be blown down. High profile vehicles may encounter some
driving difficulty, especially on east-west roads.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro and Plumfield.

.Levels will continue to slowly fall on the Big Muddy River, but
remain above flood stage through next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 20.9 feet

Police say calls over lewd photos interfering with 911 calls

HERRIN (WSIL) � The Herrin Police Chief made a on Facebook Sunday asking people not to call the dispatch center to report lewd photos posted on Google. 

Police Chief Quinn Laird says the phones are so busy it is interfering with their ability to answer 911 calls. 

Laird says he has reported the problem to Google and reached out to a Cybercrime Specialist to help identify who posted the pictures. 

In the post he said, "Let me be clear, we did not post these pictures nor do we at this time have any knowledge of how they were posted there."
