PADUCAH, Ky (WSIL) -- The City of Paducah is still waiting to count some mail-in ballots, but George Bray has claimed victory in the race.
Current mayor Brandi Harless was unseated in the primary, finishing third behind Bray and Richard Abraham.
Bray holds 62 percent of the vote over Abraham as of Tuesday night.
Bray says his vision for Paducah is to rekindle growth and excitement around a community that offers a lifestyle second to none, and a work force that would make any company successful.
If confirmed, Bray will become Paducah's 38th mayor.
