WSIL -- President Donald Trump provided more clarification with a series of Tweets Tuesday evening regarding a possible COVID-19 relief package.
Earlier in the day, he was instructing his representatives to stop negotiating a stimulus bill until after the election. In a series of Tweets, Trump accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of trying to "bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat states" and not negotiating in good faith.
Tuesday evening, President Trump clarified that he would sign a stand alone bill to send another round of stimulus checks to millions of Americans and approve aid to specific industries like airlines and small businesses. No word yet on if individual bills directed to provide specific relief will be brought up by Congress.
