CARBONDALE (WSIL)– All the Softball Salukis needed this weekend was a win over Bradley to secure the second seed in the MVC Tournament next week.Kicking off the closing series of the regular season with a double header against the Braves.
Bradley cruised to a 14-5 win in the first game, but in game 2, SIU catcher Katelyn Massa with the heroics, a walkoff homerun to give the Salukis a 7-4 win, and the number two seed in next week’s tournament.
Rubber match for the series is Sunday at 11am.
