CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Clouds have increased ahead of our next system, but the rain will hold off until this evening. Afternoon temperatures have climbed back up near 70 degrees.Â
Light rain will move in late tonight and stick around into early Thursday morning. This is thanks to another cold front. However, it won't be a washout. Rainfall amounts will be very light, a trace to a tenth of an inch.Â
Aside from the small rain chance, Thursday will be mild. High temperatures will climb back up near 70s degrees, with breezy west winds.Â
Another wave will bring a small chance for rain Thursday night, into Friday morning. But the best chance will stay just to the northeast of our region, we will likely stay dry.Â
By the weekend, more nice weather returns. It'll be great for outdoor activities, with sunshine and mild temperatures.Â
