WSIL(Carterville, Ill.) -- This evening, we are tracking skies that are partly cloudy to mostly sunny for most locations. Temperatures are in the low to mid 60s for most of us in southern Illinois, but further south, temperatures are in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Winds are mostly calm, at most out of the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour.聽
For this evening, a few isolated showers are possible mainly between 5 PM and midnight. However, showers are expected to be light, and not last too long. Temperatures will still be in the upper 50s by 7 PM, but will dip into the upper 40s by midnight. Skies this evening, and into the overnight hours are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy. This will help temperatures to remain in the low 40s as we are kicking off the day tomorrow.聽
Skies tomorrow will be mostly sunny in the first half of the day and partly cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures tomorrow for afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 60s areawide, and potentially in the lower 70s further south as west across southwestern Missouri. Conditions for the next few day will remain seasonable, with highs in the low to mid 60s, with partly cloudy skies.聽
